Software Licensing Policy

1. License Types
ProSoft SA offers the following license types:
- Single User License: Valid for one computer. Our standard license for individual users and small businesses.
- Multi-User License: Valid for multiple computers within the same organization. Contact sales for pricing.
- Site License: Unlimited installations within a single physical location. Ideal for mining operations and large facilities.
2. License Activation
After purchasing software from our store, you will receive:
- A download link for the software installer
- A unique product key in the format: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX
- Installation and activation instructions
To activate:
- Install the software on your computer
- Launch the application
- Enter your product key when prompted
- The software will verify the key and activate automatically
3. License Transfer
If you need to transfer your license to a new computer:
- Contact support@prosoftsa.co.za with your request
- Provide your current license key and reason for transfer
- Our team will deactivate the license on the old machine
- You will receive a new activation key for the new computer
License transfers are limited to one transfer per 12-month period for single user licenses.
4. License Renewal and Updates
All ProSoft SA licenses include:
- Free software updates for 12 months from purchase date
- Access to new features and improvements
- Bug fixes and security patches
After the initial 12-month period, you can continue using the software indefinitely. Optional update subscriptions are available for continued access to new features.
5. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited and will result in license termination:
- Sharing, selling, or distributing your license key
- Using the software on more computers than licensed
- Attempting to crack, reverse engineer, or bypass license verification
- Using automated tools to generate or test license keys
- Reselling licenses without written authorization from ProSoft SA
6. License Verification
Our software periodically verifies the license status. This requires an internet connection. If verification fails repeatedly, the software may enter a grace period before requiring reactivation. Offline use is fully supported between verification periods.
7. Lost License Keys
If you lose your license key:
- Email support@prosoftsa.co.za with your purchase details
- Provide your order number, purchase date, and registered email
- We will verify your purchase and reissue your license key
8. Volume Licensing
For organizations requiring multiple licenses, we offer volume discounts:
- 5-10 licenses: 10% discount
- 11-25 licenses: 15% discount
- 26-50 licenses: 20% discount
- 50+ licenses: Custom pricing
